Hi there! I’m Laura, and I want to share a glimpse of my journey with you. Before I became a health and wellness coach, I was exactly where many of my clients are today. I was struggling to feel at home in my own body while juggling the pressures of a demanding career and family life.

When I had my first child, I gained weight and spent the next 10 years battling my way through diets, hoping to find the magic solution. I was caught in an exhausting cycle of restriction and frustration, always waiting for the "perfect" body to show up before I could fully embrace my life. I even avoided taking pictures because I didn’t like how I looked, missing out on capturing precious memories with my loved ones.

On top of it all, I was also navigating type 2 pre-diabetes, relying on Metformin, yet still unable to manage my stress, weight, or overall well-being. It all affected how I showed up—not just at work, but as a wife and mother.

For a long time in my career, I hesitated to pursue promotions, skipped networking events, and even held back from social situations because I felt like I wasn’t "enough." I know what it’s like to put ambitions on hold because of insecurities about your body.

Fueled by this transformation, I pursued certifications as a health mindset coach and integrative nutrition health coach, and in 2021, I founded a wellness coaching business “Your Coach LT” which evolved into Your Now Body. Today, I help high-achieving women—working moms, executive women, and women entrepreneurs—reclaim their health, wellness, and confidence so they can thrive in their careers, businesses, and personal lives without sacrificing their well-being.

And now, I’m here to help you do the same. I see you. I understand the exhaustion, the frustration, the hiding, and the longing for something more. 

I understand the struggles of balancing a demanding career, family life, and personal well-being. I’ve walked the path myself, navigating endless cycles of diet restrictions, stress, and burnout, all while striving to be everything to everyone. I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, and uncertain about how to truly thrive in both your career and your life.

But here’s what I’ve learned: lasting change doesn’t come from punishing your body or waiting to look a certain way. It comes from meeting yourself where you are and caring for your body as it is today. My journey to optimal health didn’t happen overnight. It took years of trial, error, and learning to honor my now body, free from the grips of diet culture.

It wasn’t until I made the life-changing decision to fall back in love with myself during the pandemic of 2020 that everything changed. I embarked on a transformative journey to become the healthiest version of myself, both mentally and physically. It was then that I realized this truth: true health and happiness weren’t about restrictive diets or waiting for the “perfect” body. They were about reconnecting with my body, honoring its needs, and nourishing it in a way that allowed me to thrive without sacrificing the foods I love or my mental health.

Through this journey, I discovered the importance of embracing my now body—a body that is worthy of confidence, nourishment, and success. I found fulfillment in honoring my body’s seasons, instead of constantly chasing an unrealistic standard set by diet culture and social media. And when I did that, everything shifted. I started being intentional with the habits that supported my now body and nurtured it into becoming healthier, more energized, and empowered in ways I had never experienced before. I even got off my Metformin medication because my A1C was back to normal levels, and I was in remission from type 2 pre-diabetes (yay!).
